Every month we take a moment to introduce a member of our team at Indellient. My name is Heather Munro and I’m usually the one organizing these posts as the Content Marketing Specialist. I’ve worked at Indellient for almost 6 years in June and I genuinely love my job.
Each month, through our Inside Indellient initiative you will be introduced to one of our team members. As a Professional IT Service company, our services are only as good as our experts who deliver them.
Tell us more about what you do at Indellient
“I am a Content Marketing Specialist! This means I use my Search Engine Optimization expertise to plan, optimize, and schedule content like blogs, videos, white papers ect. SEO is tough and success is gradual; I’m proud of how far the Indellient website has come in the past year. “
What is your favourite part about working at Indellient:
“Indellient is a really supportive work environment. I’ve worked here for over 5 years and originally started in customer service answering emails. Since then I’ve been able to help with my other skills like front-end development and film making/design work. Indellient even covered part of the cost of my Front End Development Certificate Program at a local college. All of my managers have been totally supportive of my career goals, I genuinely feel so lucky to work here. “
What advice would you give to someone applying at Indellient?
“Indellient is the best fit if you are a collaborative team player. Everyone here is very genuine and supportive of one another. Everyone gets a chance to voice their ideas or innovative solutions. If you’re motivated by competition it might not be the best fit.”
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself!
“I taught myself html/css while playing neopets as a young teen. I would play around with layouts that others had made and would design graphics in photoshop and code them. The coding was super messy and I used to use tables instead of divs! But they looked great from the front. “
What is the last show you binge-watched?
“I can’t believe I hadn’t seen Working Moms yet! I’m not one to genuinely binge a tv show but I really couldn’t get enough of Working Moms. I love that it’s Canadian and it was the funniest show I’ve seen in a while. “
