Below are all the places you can catch our team in real life this year! We love getting to chat with the DevOps community and these events are the best way to do it. Keep up with us as we travel around the continent sharing our passion for all things DevOps, Kubernetes, Chef, Open Source and more!

DevOpsDays New York City

Our first event of 2019 was in the city that never sleeps! We headed to NYC from Jan. 24 – 25 along with over 300 professionals to discuss DevOps processes, procedures and overall DevOps culture from esteemed speakers and learn from peers in an open space.

Not only did we attend, but we also sponsored the show!

West GTA DevOps Meetup

We’re diving into the “every-thing-as-code” philosophy at our West GTA DevOps meetup at our Oakville, Ontario headquarters! We’ll go into how this helps achieve visibility, transparency, and velocity in DevOps processes.

ChefConf

We had an incredible time at ChefConf 2019 in Seattle from May 20 – 23 this year. We were there talking all things DevOps, Chef and more!

If you haven’t heard of this dynamic, energetic, fast-paced and, more than anything, FUN conference – it is designed to deliver the strategies, tactics and insights for application delivery organizations. It touches on the most important topics DevOps professionals encounter every day like compliance, infrastructure modernization, automation, audits and everything in between.

It really was an unforgettable week – with 11 workshops, 72 sessions, and several amazing product demos.

On top of that, our very own Skyler Layne hosted a breakout session about  “Bringing the Chef Habitat Depot On-Premise in the Enterprise“. It didn’t stop there as Siraj Rauff, a DevOps Specialist here at Indellient hosted a full-day workshop on “Chef Habitat in Production“.

Our Vice President of DevOps, Damith Karunaratne, sat down with Susan Hall of The New Stack to talk about Chef and Kubernetes. Read the article here. You can also catch Damith talking with Chris Riley at Digital Anarchist on how companies can approach application modernization.

Needless to say, we had a great ChefConf experience and can’t wait for the next one.

DevOps Days Toronto

DevOps Days are all about collaboration and community. And because it’s THE largest global conference series for modern IT and software professionals, we went twice this year!

Indellient joined over 25 sponsors and 900+ attendees in Toronto from May 29 – 30 at Evergreen Brickworks. Our team had several great conversations with people ready to take the next step along their DevOps journey. It was truly amazing to hear the excitement from everyone ready to make the next step.

Better Together – Innovative Infrastructure & Application Delivery

On June 18 and June 20, we are hosting events in Boston and Toronto with the great folks at Chef, HashiCorp and Microsoft Azure to provide best practices for modern software delivery.

We’ll cover how Chef and HashiCorp can allow you to easily manage even the most complex, diverse environments and allow for rapid, secure scaling. You will come away with best practices and next steps on how to improve automation, compliance and security. This will also be a chance for you to share knowledge and experiences while learning about practical strategies.

Get details on the Boston event on June 18 here.
